Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm
The 1.1 gigawatt Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm will comprise 72 turbines sited in the North Sea, 15 kilometres off the Angus Coast. The power it generates will be transported 85 kilometres via export cables to a substation being constructed on the East Lothian site of the former Cockenzie Power Plant. To date almost 300 UK suppliers, including more than 120 from Scotland, have helped progress the project, making it a truly collaborative effort. As the project moves into offshore construction, the Inch Cape team will maintain its inclusive approach, working closely with its Tier 1s to maximise local opportunities.
