Health, Safety and Hygiene Measures

The safety of our guests and our staff team is of paramount importance to Scottish Renewables. We want everyone to feel totally confident about attending Scottish Renewables’ Westminster Reception, or any other Scottish Renewables event.

Events in the Parliament are run in accordance with HM Government and Public Health England guidance in the first instance, and venue-specific regulations will also apply.

Scottish Renewables’ Westminster Reception will follow the measures outlined below:

• All guests are encouraged to complete a coronavirus rapid lateral flow test before travelling to the Parliamentary estate. Anyone testing positive or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms must not travel to the event. Guests are also asked to complete another rapid lateral flow test 2 days after attending your event. Should anyone test positive please contact the Parliament Test and Trace team by email testing@parliament.uk or telephone 020 7219 2222.
• If you are unwell or have COVID-19, and in line with UK Government guidance, please do not visit the Parliamentary estate until you have two negative lateral flow tests on day 5 and day 6 (or two consecutive subsequent days at least 24 hours apart until day 10).
• Guests are required to wear a face covering when moving through security and around public or communal spaces, unless medically exempt.
• Delegates are encouraged to keep a safe distance and avoid physical contact. The room maximum capacity in the venue has been reduced to prevent overcrowding.
• Additional cleaning procedures and hand-sanitising facilities will be available throughout the venue.
