Taking place at the end of Day 1 of the Offshore Wind Conference, Scottish Renewables and Crown Estate Scotland are hosting a special Burns Supper in one of Glasgow’s most spectacular buildings – Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum. The event will welcome nearly 500 renewable energy professionals for a relaxed evening of traditional Burns Supper cuisine, entertainment and networking ahead of Day 2 of the conference.

What is a Burns Supper?

Held throughout the world on Burns Night (or on an evening close to it), a traditional Burns Supper is an evening event that celebrates the life and work of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet. Everyone attending a Burns Supper can enjoy a hearty feast, which traditionally includes haggis, potatoes and turnips, rounded off with drams of whisky, as well as Burns poems and songs and the music of a piper. Read more about Burns Suppers.
