Nominations are now open for the Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2025!
KEY DATES
Nominations deadline: Thursday, 6 March
Finalists announced: Thursday, 27 March
Winners announced: Thursday, 1 May
- Nominee activity must have been directly carried out within a business/university/project operating in the renewable energy sector in Scotland.
- Nominations should include answers to all three questions, following word limitations displayed, and can be supported by 1 x one-sided A4 document. Any entries exceeding this limit will not be processed.
- Entries are free and you can submit as many nominations as you wish.

Academic Award
The Academic Award celebrates a talented graduate or student who has delivered exceptional work on a project or course. The winner will be an individual who exceeds standard expectations, demonstrates creativity and innovative approaches to solving problems in the renewable energy sector.
Guidelines
- Nominees must be a current student or have graduated in the past 24 months
- Demonstrate the impact to the renewable energy sector in Scotland

Analyst Award

The Analyst Awards recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution or achieved outstanding results in an analytical role in relation to renewable energy.

- Provide evidence of the impact of the work and its contribution to renewables in Scotland

Culture Change Award
The winner of the Culture Change Award will demonstrate a personal passion for changing workplace culture for the better. And most of all they’ll be able to show that they – or their team, project or group of colleagues – have made the workplace (and renewables) a better place to be.

- Provide an overview of the individual, detailing the work they have done to improve workplace culture and the renewable energy industry

Engineer Award

Without engineers, our industry is nothing. This award celebrates an individual whose design, development or sheer engineering innovation has delivered real results.

Innovator Award
The Innovator Award recognises a pioneering individual who is leading the way by providing solutions, developing new techniques or challenging convention with new project ideas.

- Provide a description of the innovative solution, technique or project the nominee has developed or led
- Highlight evidence of the benefits to Scotland’s renewable energy sector, including key information/statistics
Personal Improvement Award
The Personal Improvement Award celebrates a current apprentice, or someone in any form of work-based learning, whose dedication, ambition and drive sets them apart. Judges will be looking for examples of individuals who have gone above and beyond to achieve real results.

Professional Service Award

This award recognises an individual providing outstanding professional services of any kind to the renewable energy sector, or the provision of services that achieved outstanding results.
