Grid & Networks Conference 2025

27 February 2025 | Glasgow

The last six months have seen a dizzying succession of changes in grid policy with the establishment of both the UK Government’s Mission Control to deliver clean power by 2030 and the National Energy Systems Operator, followed by the adoption of the Clean Power 2030 plan. It seems the rallying call of “no transition without transmission” has been heard and ambition is rising to match the challenge of building a grid fit for net-zero.

But ambition is not enough, as the three C’s - connection, charges and constraints - continue to present major barriers to deployment. With supply chain capacity, skills availability and public acceptance also in the mix, a lot of work is still to be done.

Secure your place today at this must-attend event to hear from experts on network reform and engage with those accelerating grid and network infrastructure development.
