What is a Burns Supper?
Held throughout the world on Burns Night (or on an evening close to it), a traditional Burns Supper is an evening event that celebrates the life and work of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet. Everyone attending a Burns Supper can enjoy a hearty feast, which traditionally includes haggis, potatoes and turnips, rounded off with drams of whisky, as well as Burns poems and songs and the music of a piper. You can read more about Burns Suppers here.
