Onshore Wind Conference 2019 Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks Transmission

We are part of Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, operating as Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission plc under licence and are responsible for maintaining and investing in the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland. We take the electricity generated from onshore windfarms, hydro power stations and other generators and transport it at high voltage and extra high voltage over long distances through our transmission network to areas of demand around our towns and cities.
