Parallel 2A - Optimising Performance: Maximising the Existing Offshore Fleet

Session coordinated by Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult

With over 5GW of installed offshore wind capacity and a further 5GW under construction in UK waters, turbines ranging in size from 2MW to 8MW, and over 25% of lifetime costs coming from operations and maintenance (O&M), optimising the performance of the existing fleet is more important than ever.

This session will look at some of the most innovative O&M developments and best practice, from both operational and technological perspectives.
