Brexit & EGM Event About the Event
Event Summary
The UK Government says that Britain will leave the European Union on March 29, 2019. The implications for the energy sector are potentially significant, but, as things stand, there is little clarity on the nature of the post-Brexit regulatory and trade relationships that the UK will have with the EU. The strength and durability of these relationships will heavily influence the Scottish renewable energy sector for a generation.
This event will give Scottish Renewables members a unique opportunity to hear from an expert in the field on their analysis of the likely future regulatory situation in the UK both in the transition in the immediate post-Brexit period, and the long term. The session will discuss both the overall relationship as well as the possible frameworks for renewable energy specifically.
Who should attend?
This event is open to and relevant to all SR members.
