Optimising assets isn’t a job for the turbine manufacturers alone, owners have a vital role to play. Allianz Capital Partners’ John Matthew will discuss the company’s experience, from ensuring the right ecological monitoring is in place to talking about how external influences, such as forestry analysis and management can have a positive impact on the project economics. John will also briefly discuss the company’s ongoing nacelle mounted LIDAR campaign which targets sites suffering from performance shortfalls, as well as the use of data analytics and cooperation with the OEMs to unlock solutions to issues and other common problems.

This session will discuss the opportunities presented by energy storage technologies to wind farm assets, as well as those presented by life extension and repowering, hearing from a range of perspectives from consultant, to independent developer and owner/operator.
