Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2020 About the Event

Rewarding the next generation of leaders in renewables

Renewable energy is one of Scotland’s proudest environmental and economic success stories and the Young Professionals Green Energy Awards celebrates and recognises those who will be driving the evolution of Scotland’s energy system.

In order to protect the health of members and guests, and in line with recent Government advice on the coronavirus, this event will no longer be held on 21 May at the Grand Central Hotel.

This decision follows on from other recent revisions to our programme of events and was taken between Scottish Renewables’ team and our elected Board. You can find out more about this decision in the Q&A document on our website, which has been updated today. 

Though we can't bring people together in person at this time, it is important that we continue to recognise the achievements and ambition of our future industry leaders and this is why we will still deliver the Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2020 - in a new format of engaging online activity.
