Offshore wind developers have outlined their commitment to the development of the Scottish supply chain. To support this, developers, tier 1 supply chain and industry stakeholders, are joining us at the Offshore Wind Conference 2023 for our new Meet-the-Buyer Business Booths.

Taking place in the exhibition hall, the booths will bring together companies from all levels of the supply chain and key project buying contacts. Suppliers attending one-to-one meetings in our business booths will learn all they need to know about how to get involved in upcoming bidding processes and have the opportunity to share their organisation’s solutions with procurement teams from this rapidly-growing sector.

ScottishPower and Shell have joined forces to develop the MarramWind offshore windfarm. Located 75 kilometres off the North East coast of Scotland in water depths averaging 100 metres, the proposed MarramWind floating offshore windfarm could deliver up to the 3 gigawatts of cleaner renewable energy. Working collaboratively with local communities, businesses and stakeholders, MarramWind will ensure that maximum value is brought to Scotland and the UK from this development through supply chain growth, skills development and job creation.

Norwegian Energy Partners

Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) is a non-commercial foundation jointly financed by the Norwegian government and the industry, supporting the Norwegian offshore wind industry internationally. NORWEP is creating strong ties between the Norwegian and international offshore wind industry players as it is organizing dialogues to support the industry with innovative and cost reducing solutions.
