Guidance - Good practice during Wind Farm construction

Version 4 of the Good Practice during Wind Farm Construction guidance has now been published. This version has received input from a range of stakeholders, including Scottish Natural Heritage, Scottish Renewables members, Perth and Kinross Council planning staff, Historic Environment Scotland EIA staff, Forestry Commission Scotland, SEPA and Marine Scotland freshwater staff.

New material includes:

• A chapter on the Historic Environment
• SEPA Construction site licenses
• Wind farm traffic on highways
• More focussed information on Environmental Clerks of Works
• Less prescriptive information on habitat restoration – reference to management plans
• General refresh of all chapters to bring them up to date with current good practice
