Solar EV charging and battery

Stirling Council’s Castleview Park and Ride features 64 electric vehicle charging points powered by solar PV panels linked to a Tesla Powerpack battery storage system, which maximises the use of the renewable energy generated.

This transformational project, delivered by FES Group, enables travellers to go low-carbon whether they’re using an EV, e-bike or public transport. It's designed to be easily-replicable, meaning it can be copied for other locations, and to be expanded if needed in future.
